The Work:

Time Commitment
  • Work Hours: ANY - Work when you want, day or night

  • Minimum Time Commitment: NONE
    Work as much or as little as you want

  • Approach: A "natural" conversation (see below)
  • Language: In your native language
  • Topics: Choose from a variety of topics
  • Pace: Self-paced - work when you like
  • Quantity: Up to you - the more you submit, the more you make!

A Conversational Project
Spoken dialogue recordings should have a normal, natural flow. They should feel like regular conversations between people.
  • Record with a "partner" of your choice
  • No need to be in the same place for partner recordings
  • Conversation "partner" must speak the same native language
  • Conversation "partner" must also sign up / apply
Length
  • Recordings should be between 5 and 15 minutes

  • If your language is listed above, we especially need your voice

Key Responsibilities

  • Record a natural conversation with your partner
    (conversations should have a natural back-and-forth with no one person speaking more than the other)
  • No background noise
  • No profanity, offensive, religious, political, or otherwise controversial topics
    (keep the conversation friendly, respectful, and appropriate for a general audience)

Diversity Encouraged

  • All genders accepted
  • Adults of any age (over 18 years old)
  • Accents & regional nuance are welcome

General Qualifications

  • Comfortable using a web-based application
  • Communicates reliably via email and/or chat
  • Comfortable with remote work

Required Qualifications & Setup 
Previous voice-work is NOT required

  • All "partners" are native speakers in the same language
  • All "partners" must sign up / apply
  • Stable internet connection
  • Clear speech with no background noise
  • Access to a quiet recording environment
  • Reliable communication 

Required Equipment
No professional recording gear is needed

  • Computer or laptop (no phones or tablets)
  • Headset with a microphone are required (headphones and earbuds are acceptable)

Compensation

Recording Rates
Bonuses are available based on the number of hours recorded

We compensate per minute / per person for accepted audio.
More information is provided during the application process. 
 

Optimized Video

Get better outcomes with video. We offer 24/7 video interpreting on more languages for the same per minute rate as audio.

True Flexibility

Use the tools you prefer:  Any OS or device (phone, tablet, computer), and add linguists to preferred meeting platforms.
